WasteBoards invented environmental friendly skateboards made of plastic waste - plastic bottle caps. The company collects the bottle caps at music festivals and through PlasticWhales, a plastic collecting company, that fishes the caps out of the Amsterdam canals. To maintain their unique caps pattern design WasteBoards created a complete new production method to guarantee the right strength and stiffness. Each WasteBoard is made by hand.

WasteBoards are created in collaboration with the Amsterdam skateboard scene. Their mobile bakery travels to bake WasteBoards at festival and events around where they use the plastic caps from the event to create the WasteBoards.
